We’re thrilled to announce some exciting agency news as we continue planning for growth and success in the year ahead. From additions to our agency leadership to emerging services, our expanding client roster to admirable industry recognition, we couldn’t be more excited for what has already happened this year and what lies ahead for our team and our clients in 2016.
Here is a quick update on what’s new with our team, our agency and our clients:
Brian Mast has joined the agency as the first partner in the last 12 years after providing consulting services for 104 West since mid-2015. Brian is a well-respected technology communications veteran with proven success developing strategic content-driven communications programs for B2B and B2C clients across a variety of industries. Brian will be based in San Francisco, deepening the firm’s presence there and servicing Silicon Valley-based clients. He’ll also continue working with the executive leadership at 104 West to deliver successful results to new and existing clients.
Kelli Flores, who was named director this week, has been with the agency for more than five years now, playing a key role in account management and the strategic development and execution of client content programming. We are pleased to announce her new role , where she will continue leading communications strategy and development for our growing client roster.
Sarah Thorson, an integral member of our team over the past three years, has been promoted to Senior Account Manager where she will continue driving client programming and media relations success for many of the agency’s biggest and longest-standing client accounts.
We also welcomed Emily Walsh (Account Executive) and Caitlin Safchik (Account Coordinator) to the 104 West family at the end of last year. Emily comes from an agency background working in digital communications and social media strategy development and Caitlin became a critical member or our team after completing her internship with the agency in 2015.
“Traditional publicity-driven programming is quickly and inexorably giving way to strategies that require a different, more integrated approach: compelling narratives that become communications flywheels for broader go-to-market channels,” explains Patrick Ward, CEO of 104 West. “Smart communicators approach our client programs through that philosophy, partnering with them to re-think how they engage with their markets and constituents, and how they can use multiple tools to do that, many of which may not be traditional public relations instruments.”
And if you need to hear it from the source, just take our clients’ word for it:
“104 West has built a team of the finest people and the most brilliant PR pros I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with, and Brian is the epitome,” said Kate Lynch, director of communications and content at Support.com. “Brian’s ability to quickly and strategically address the business, as well as the PR objectives, adds tremendous value. And the agency’s unique data-driven content methodology has enabled us to reach new levels of awareness and credibility.”
104 West has also continued to show growth and market expertise through an expanded client roster. 104 West has extended its presence in the video technology space, marked by the return of clients Rapt Media, an interactive video platform, and popular video app Magisto. The firm has also added new clients in recent months including Prevoty, an application security provider, design and development firm Sequence, and Support.com, a cloud- and services-based technical support provider.
And let’s not forget…
